Overview

The Test Engineer I will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Sonny’s products. This role will work closely with the new product development team to design and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and contribute to the overall improvement of our new product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with the new product development team to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.

· Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the performance, durability, and reliability of our products.

· Identify and document defects, and work closely with design engineers to facilitate their resolution.

· Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

· Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging testing tools, and technologies.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field required.

· Solid understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and practices.

· Experience with manual and automated test hardware.

· Experience with hydraulic systems and components preferred.

· Knowledge of flow, pressure, force, and other sensors preferred.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

· Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
