Position Summary:
Sonic’s Construction Coordinator is responsible for coordinating construction efforts through in-house and contract labor for new construction and rebuild projects. The Construction Coordinator is responsible for quality of work performed by subcontractors and reporting of subcontractor performance.
Position Type:
The OSP Construction Coordinator I is a full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt/hourly position, full benefits. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 6am-3pm. Some overtime work should be expected for this position. This is a field based position and requires paid travel to various job sites on a daily basis.
Travel:
Travel is expected for this position. A valid California Driver’s License and Clean DMV is required. A company vehicle will be provided for business use. Company vehicle and gas card provided for work use.

Daily driving is expected. The Construction crew is exposed to varying climates and elements, determined by Mother Nature. Extreme heat, rain, dust and wind are to be expected.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit and stand; talk or hear; reach with hands and arms; key/type. The employee is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to drive a vehicle.
