Position Summary:

The Network Operations Center Technician (NOC Tech) is responsible for working with internal and external suppliers to achieve timely fulfilment of customer orders. They are expected to provide internal and external customer service through both phone and ticket support.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

NOC Tech is a full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt/hourly position. Office hour range is Monday through Saturday 8am-6pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. On-call rotation participation is expected.

Travel: Travel is not typical for this position.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

NOC Tech position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provisioning and turn-up of new dedicated customer circuits
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosis of circuit problems
  • Answer calls to the call center in a timely fashion
  • Work with local carriers to resolve problems expediently
  • Maintain excellent customer relations
  • Accurately document processes and work performed
  • Participation in customer support, on-call after hours, rotation is required

This team represents a diverse group of products and services, therefore we are tasked with reacting too many situations simultaneously, and the pace is very fast and requires multitasking on a daily basis.

Pay Scale:

Starting Rate: $18-$20/hr
