Key Job Functions

• Supervises time punching entry and exit of employees.
• Maintains casual employee sign in and out logs.
• Controls visitor traffic and issues passes, when appropriate.
• Controls and examines all incoming and outgoing parcels, packages and issues passes when approved.
• Monitors alarms for fire stairwells and meat freezer.
• Supervises and operates opening , closing of receiving Dock gate.
• Maintains base radio for security Department.
• Has hotel key cabinet, supervises key sign out and in.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.

Education and / or Experience

High school diploma. Prior security or Hotel timekeeper experience. Able to comply with management policies as dictated.

Able to handle situations of possible conflict with employees. Flexible working hours including night work.

Other Skills and Abilities

Must be able to work flexible hours and rotating shifts if necessary.

Other Qualifications

Valid Driver's License helpful to drive Gem Car.
