Position Description: The Network Management team at SOMOS Innovation, LLC, is responsible for partnering with healthcare providers to develop, maintain and optimize SOMOS provider network throughout the communities we serve. The Manager, Value-Based Performance and Strategy will report to the VP, Value Based Performance and Strategy, and will play an integral role in the organizations performance by partnering with providers throughout the region to drive performance through advanced value-based arrangements. Role Responsibilities : Implementing and advancing value-based reimbursement models designed to transform the way healthcare is delivered and financed throughout our communities Developing and executing strategic initiatives designed to effectively transition primary care partners into the most advanced value-based arrangements Managing provider's quality and financial performance across various value-based arrangements Presenting quality and financial results to provider partners and identifying strategies to capitalize on areas of opportunity Developing the data and reporting infrastructure needed to successfully communicate results to provider partners Maintaining strong relationships throughout the provider community in order effectively promote SOMOS IPA and transition applicable providers into value-based arrangements COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS BS/BA in a business administration or healthcare-related field Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years' experience in healthcare strategy, finance, consulting, network, or related role Ability to successfully negotiate value-based contracts with key primary care and other provider partners Understanding of performance levers of value-based primary care contracts and ability to develop strategies to improve performance Understanding of financial reports and the ability to manage accordingly Understanding of contract language and legal requirements/guidelines for contracting Understanding of various financial reimbursement methodologies used in managed care contracts Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, the ability to work under tight deadlines, high productivity Strong written and verbal excellent communication skills Ability to effectively present to both internal and external parties Ability to interact with senior leadership from both an internal and external perspective POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK Primary Location: 2910 Exterior Street, 1st Floor Bronx, NY 10463 Hours Per Week: 40 Shift: Day Workdays: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri Working Hours: 40 hours per week Job Schedule: Full-time - schedule to be determined by the manager Job Type: Standard Employee Status: Regular Employee Group/Union Affiliation: Salaried, Non-Union, Exempt Job Level: Manager with Direct Reports Job Category: External Affairs / Relations Department: Innovator Travel: Yes, 5 % of the Time About SOMOS Innovation, LLC: Employees and Board Members of SOMOS Innovation, LLC only access PHI/EPHI on a need-to-know basis.
