Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Train and supervise bar staff, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to company policies.
- Create and update drink menus, ensuring a diverse selection of high-quality beverages.
- Monitor and maintain bar equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of math for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices.
- Experience in catering or event planning is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors.
- Proven ability to lead a team and motivate staff to provide exceptional service.
- Knowledge of sales techniques to drive revenue growth in the bar.
