About us
Tiger Paw is a fun and upbeat Sports Restaurant and Bar with billiards and games. Over 20 TVs, large alcohol and food menu, and plenty of bar, dining, and game area seating!
Responsibilities:
- Set and implement standards for bartending and serving staff
- Work with alcohol inventory team to lower weekly loss and ensure profitabliity
- Oversee alcohol ordering performed by alcohol inventory team
- Assist GM in managing alcohol offerings, specials, prices, etc.
- Assist GM in hiring/onboarding/training of bartending and serving staff
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders
- Upsell menu items and promote special promotions or events
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
Experience:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling of food and beverages
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Cash handling experience for processing payments accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of restaurant or retail math for calculating bills and making change
