We are looking for an all-star Industrial Laundress who has incredible attention to detail, is reliable, and has a positive attitude to join our close-knit team at Something Vintage Rentals! The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and laundering linens and inspecting for quality for our event rental company.

Overview:

As our laundress you will be responsible for cleaning and ironing our rental tablecloths and napkins. Additionally, you may assist with cleaning rental furniture or provide support to our China Department. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player, who has a positive attitude, flexibility, and a strong work ethic to uphold our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Launder and iron rental tablecloths and napkins to company standards
• Inspect all linens for damage and stains
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry area
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Assist with cleaning rental furniture as needed
• Provide support to the China Department when required

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in commercial laundry operations,
• Ability to work on feet for long periods and lift 40 lbs
• Experience working with a Flatwork Automatic Ironer is a plus
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
• Reliable transportation, as we are not metro accessible
• Bi-lingual candidates preferred, but not required
