Overview:
Somerset Preparatory Academy Homestead is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as the Dean of Students For the 2024-2025 school year. As the Dean of Students, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and guidance to our student body. You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of student affairs, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to enhance student engagement, success, and retention
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement policies and programs that promote student well-being and academic success
- Foster a diverse and inclusive campus community by promoting cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Coordinate efforts to address student conduct issues in accordance with institutional policies and procedures
- Collaborate with academic departments to support curriculum development that meets the needs of students
- Provide leadership in crisis management situations and ensure the safety and security of students
- Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, staff, and administration to address concerns or issues

Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in education administration or related field
- Strong background in strategic planning
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles and practices
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience supervising staff members in a collaborative environment
