JOB DESCRIPTION:Extended School Year (ESY) is a Special Education Program for students with disabilities whose IEP team has determined that in order to prevent substantial regression and reduce recoupment times the students require a longer year. Services are based on individual needs to address IEP goals and objectives.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Oversees implementation of ABA programming2.Designs ABA programming as needed3.Consults with and trains staff in implementation of programming and data collection4.Supports behavior planning for all students5.Consults with parents as necessary6.Communicate student progress based on data collected to parents/guardians and other school personnel.7.Assess and analyze performance via data collection8.Provide guidance for district programs9.Manage behavior crisis situations: modeling interventions, staff training, crisis plan and behavior support plan development, and team and family follow up10.Supervise RBTs11.Create and run weekly social skills groups12.Complete any other duty or assignments as directed by the Director of Special Education/ESY Coordinator
