JOB DESCRIPTION: Extended School Year (ESY) is a Special Education Program for students withdisabilities whose IEP team has determined that in order to prevent substantialregression and reduce recoupment times the students require a longer year.Services are based on individual needs to address IEP goals and objectives.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), provide direct ABA services by implementingskill acquisition and maintenance programs, behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behaviorsupport plans for individual students and specialized small groups as indicated on their IEPs.2. Adheres to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) RBT Code of Ethics.3. Work in collaboration with the BCBA and other team members to provide insight into programming changes andmake suggestions to support each student’s success.4. Communicate student progress based on data collected to BCBA and other school personnel.5. Complete any other duty or assignments as directed by the Director of Special Education/ESY Coordinator
