Job Title: Math Interventionist

Somerset Academy Boca is seeking a dedicated and experienced Math Interventionist to join our team. As a Math Interventionist, you will play a crucial role in providing targeted academic support to students who require additional assistance in mathematics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning outcomes and contribute to our mission of ensuring all students succeed.

Responsibilities:

- Implement evidence-based math intervention programs to support students at various grade levels.

- Conduct assessments to identify students' mathematical strengths and areas for improvement.

- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on students' specific needs and learning goals.

- Provide small-group and one-on-one instruction to students, focusing on building foundational math skills and addressing learning gaps.

- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff members to coordinate interventions and support students' overall academic success.

- Monitor students' progress regularly through data analysis and adjust intervention strategies as needed.

- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and strategies for continued support at home.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Valid teaching certification/license.

- Proven experience in implementing math intervention strategies and working with students who struggle in mathematics.

- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and instructional practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.

- Flexibility and adaptability in meeting the diverse needs of students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $51,500.00 per year
