Job Overview:
We are seeking an operations leader to lead our team at select locations. This opportunity is for someone with experience in the janitorial space and that is a natural problem solver. The ideal candidate can both teach and manage a staff of janitorial technicians, while maintaining quality and time requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial staff
- Perform and oversee industrial cleaning tasks such as buffing, floor care, and general cleaning
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Inspect facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Address maintenance issues promptly
- Train new custodial staff on proper cleaning procedures
- Assist with custodial duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of leadership experience in the janitorial industry
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, commercial cleaning, and custodial work
- Knowledge of buffing techniques and floor care procedures
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
