Property Specialist Duties: Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property. Performs audits, documents processes and procedures and investigates and reports lost or damaged property. Provides support, expertise, concepts and formats to enhance and manage information by utilizing EPA Asset Management software to manage and communicate property information and to establish a property record for government property. Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition. Tracks the movement of property by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to accomplish a change of ownership, accountability or location in accordance with applicable regulations, contract requirement and corporate policy. Ensures that property is allowable, reasonable, allocable and utilized in accordance with contract requirements. Coordinates the physical inventory of property and reconciles results to ensure compliance with regulations. Verifies that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand. Confirms that work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable regulations, contractual terms and conditions, and corporate policy. Participates in the development and implementation of tools, processes and procedures. Handles disposition of property identified by the EPA customer per contractual requirements in accordance with procedures. Other responsibilities that may be assigned. Job Requirements: Must be able to lift-up to 50 lbs. Possess a valid Driver’s License Operate a Forklift Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Asset Management Software. Minimum of 3 years of experience managing assets. Experience working with U.S. Government Federal Acquisition Regulations, agency supplements, and processes for lifecycle management of Government property.
