Western Regional Manager About the Position:The Regional Lead - Western Manager performs as a technical lead for the Western United States and provides overall operational responsibility for medical logistics functions to include advanced medical supply chain activities and biomedical equipment maintenance functions. This role will serve as the Business Manager. The Western Regional Manager will assist with Financial, administrative, procurement, receiving, travel, logistical, training, Quality Assurance/Control (QA/QC), equipment, and other duties as assigned. Duties/Responsibilities:Assisting the PM with the overall responsible of the contract, ensuring all contract personnel comply with performance requirements and the terms and conditions of the contract.This position will act as the Business Manager for the contract.Verifying West site leads are ensuring all assets in medical War Readiness Materiel (WRM) allowance standards are accounted for and managed IAW Air Force StandardsConducts QA/QC site visits to western region sites.Assist US Air Force Medical Agency (AFMED) senior leadership in analyzing the need and preparing the required documentation for managing storage, space, work processes, staffing, scheduling, financial management and QA/QC.Ensure all personnel have and maintain required experience, training, and certifications necessary for contract compliance. Provide periodic performance feedback to the PM of potential issues that may disrupt performance. Review monthly QC report, to include associated travel site inventory trip reports, and provide data/trend analysis for the leadership review.Participate in planning sessions, as requested by the PM and the government to establish on-going project methodology and standard reports to measure QC performance standards and other operational initiatives.Participates in any Business Development projects as assigned.Take the minutes of planning sessions.Provide draft minutes within two working days for review by the contracting officer’s representative (COR).Prepares/presents monthly Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Program Management Review (PMR) presentations.Responds to government officials and the site leads with on-call response.Overseas Quality Control and Quality Assurance programsUp to 30% Travel is required. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft products. Demonstrated knowledge and experience utilizing the DOD Medical Material Information System (MMIS) and other operational support systems. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills that result in clear, concise, and positive communications.Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills.Demonstrated strong analysis and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide trend analysis.Strong ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.Ability to possess and retain a Secret Clearance.Must possess experience in an hybrid work environment. Education and Experience: Must have an accredited bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in medical materiel, facilities, and biomedical equipment repair management activities. OR 15 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.Desired experience includes project development, Medical War Reserve Materiel Operations, Quality assurance management, and expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms in managing ECMM personnel.
