About the Job:

Performs all aspects of Ultrasound exams and carries out supervisory and administrative duties to support the operation of the Ultrasound Department. Provides compassion and comfort to all patients.

What You’ll Do:

• Performs all Ultrasound exams according to department protocols.
• Supervises, motivates, and leads others.
• Communicates effectively with others within the department as well as outside of the department.
• Demonstrates proficiency with computer systems such as RIS and PACS
• Respects confidential nature of patient information and abides by HIPAA laws and regulations.
• Resolves conflicts with patients and/or family members in a timely manner.
• Uses patient safety equipment effectively to move patients. Utilizes lead shields and aprons when appropriate.

Who You Are:

• Completion of two years of Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school to meet the requirement for registry by the ARDMS or equivalent training required.
• ARDMS certification required.

• State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imagining License required.
• 3 to 5 years of general Ultrasound experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
