About the Role

The Company is a rapidly growing real estate and bookkeeping firm that specializes in working with high-profile clients in the commercial, residential, and property management sectors. They are currently seeking a visionary Head of Tax with a CPA, MS in Taxation or Accounting, and at least 7 years of experience, particularly in real estate, REIT, property tax, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate syndication, flipping, development, construction, and property management, and preferably a background in Big 4 or National firms as a Tax Manager/Senior Manager/Director in real estate tax. The role involves preparing various tax returns, leading and expanding the tax division, providing expert tax consulting to clients and developers, and contributing to the growth of the business through sales and leadership meetings.Applicants for the Head of Tax position at the company must be tech-savvy and capable of adding valuable insights and experience knowledge to the real estate tax division. The role offers remote flexibility and requires a candidate who is proactive, innovative, and able to work effectively with both staff and clients. The successful candidate will be a key player in the company's expansion and will be expected to participate in the strategic development of the tax group.
