We are hiring anIndustrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems, and basic tools and equipment. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills. Other duties:

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment; address any unsafe conditions or behaviors with a
  supervisor
• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance..
• Locates sources of problems by observation of machines in operation and has the ability to repair.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Ability to provide PLC support for maintenance of machines and equipment if needed.
• Conducts periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
• Achieve established goals or deadlines set for the organization
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests internally and externally.
• Ability to work successfully with a diverse workforce adhering to core values.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
• Computer proficiency or experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) preferred but not required.
• Mechanical abilities to include problem solving
• Electrical experience a plus for machine maintenance
• Ability to follow and understand instructions, policies, and procedures
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Excellent communication, enthusiasm, and interpersonal skills

Physical Demands:

• Stand or walk for long periods of time
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects
• Lift and carry objects that can weigh up to 50 pounds
• Carry and handle objects and equipment
• Stoop, kneel, and crouch
