Job Title : Special Education Teacher (SPED)

Location : West Point, AR

Job Description : Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join our team in West Point, AR.

The SPED Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs within a collaborative and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to meet diverse learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress and success
• Conduct assessments, track student progress, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and social-emotional growth
• Utilize evidence-based practices and instructional methodologies to engage students and facilitate learning

Qualifications :

• Arkansas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of students

State Licensure Requirements :

Applicants for the Special Education Teacher (SPED) position in West Point, AR, must hold or be eligible for licensure as a Special Education Teacher in the state of Arkansas.
