We are currently conducting interviews for experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time positions within school districts located in the Chicago Heights, Illinois area.

We are seeking passionate professionals who meet all local and state requirements as outlined below.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Provide direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs, including academic, social, and behavioral support.
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure that students receive appropriate accommodations and modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and participation in special education services.
