Overview:

Join our team as a Sterile Compounding Specialist. We're seeking individuals with a Texas Pharmacy Technician License and ACPE Sterile Products Certification (IV Certification) and a minimum of one year's experience in sterile compounding, particularly in an Infusion/Specialty setting. As part of our team, you'll ensure the safe and precise preparation of sterile medications, adhering to state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aseptic Compounding:Utilize technical and aseptic manipulations in ISO 5 laminar hoods, maintaining strict aseptic techniques.
• Sterile Product Preparation:Prepare sterile IV bags, inject active drugs, fill syringes for injection, and pool vials into sterile empty bags using a repeater pump.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate batch records for orders, adhering to good documentation practices.
• Compliance:Ensure the compounding room and equipment are cleaned and maintained daily as per SOPs and relevant regulations.
• Labeling and Packaging:Properly label and package finished products, meeting safety and regulatory requirements.
• Team Collaboration:Work closely with pharmacists and supervisors, contributing to the overall success of the pharmacy.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Texas.
• ACPE Sterile Products Certification (IV Certification).
• Minimum one year of sterile compounding experience in an Infusion/Specialty setting.
• Strong attention to detail and safety commitment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
