Quality Control Manager:

As QCM you will take lead and manage all Quality Control functions as it relates to projects working closely with the project team to identify, track, resolve and document QC related items.

Qualifications & Experience

* USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQMC) Certification required.

* EM 385 Certification or experience.

* Experience with several Government agencies' projects.

* Experience in hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.

* 5-10 years combined experience as; Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager

Responsibilities & Key Functions

* Develop and execute project Quality Control Plans.

* Technically sound, strong communication skills with the ability to oversee/manage multiple subcontractors on site.

* Must be detail oriented.

* Partner with the project team to understand, plan, and implement the contract drawings and specifications.

* Collaborate with the owner, design team, and contractors to ensure quality and timeliness of project construction and completion.

* Implement and manage the "Three Phases of Control" Quality Control Plan

* Thorough understanding of contract specifications and manage accountability with Trade-Partners.

* Conduct daily quality walk and issue report.

* Oversee submittal review and approval.

* Schedule and conduct quality control meetings - Preparatory, Initial Phase, Follow-up

* Control documents related to quality control functions.

* Establish testing procedures in accordance with contract specifications.

* Manage inspections process.

* Coordinate third party testing agents and interface with the Owner's representatives as required.

* Closely track and maintain a project deficiency log.

* Manage the punch list process.

* Oversee project closeout deliverable process-training, O&Ms.

* Encourage, lead, and/or participate in staff training and development.
