Medical/Nursing Assistant for a Mental Health Clinic

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical/Nursing Assistant to join our team at the clinic. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental health and possess strong clinical skills. As a Medical/Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

- Take and record vital signs accurately.

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.

- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.

- Assist healthcare providers with patient care tasks as needed.

- Provide support and assistance to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Completion of a Medical or Nursing Assistant program required.

- Previous experience working in a clinical setting required, preferably in mental health or psychiatry.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.

- Basic computer skills.

- CPR certification required.

Schedule

- Part-time position, 14 hours per week. This position does not include benefits.

- Mondays and Wednesdays 1:30-8:30 pm.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
