Job Description: 6-week contract Morganton.
Located in Morganton, NC:

CNA contract position for 6 weeks with the possibility of renewal. Hours: 3p-11p. May work OT at a 1.5x rate after 40 hours. For immediate consideration, please call or text me at 919-694-1550.

Role:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you may be tasked with helping patients with personal hygiene, safety assistance, meal prep, range of motion, and other responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have an interest in health care and keep the patient's needs as your top priority. As a Solantra employee, you will be responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, by relevant Agency policies and industry standards.

What You’ll Do:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide basic nursing care to patients and residents within the scope of the nursing assistant's responsibilities and perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor.

Assist residents with care, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment.
Obtain patient vitals.
Ensure call lights are within reach of residents and answer call lights promptly.
Report all changes in resident conditions to the supervisor as soon as possible.
Assures that residents are positioned appropriately for meals, serves meal trays, and assists with feeding as needed per individual care plan.
Completes all required documentation before the end of the shift.

What You’ll Need:

A high school diploma or GED.
CNA/NAC credentials registered with the state of North Carolina.
CPR Certification.
Must consent to and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
The ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions and to maintain nursing records and charts.
The ability to interact professionally with patients and families.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility - you must adapt to changing workloads and/or interruptions.
Must have a valid driver's license (preferred, but not required).
