Role Description
As an experienced Audit Associate, you will play a key role in leading and executing audit engagements, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in auditing and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. This is a full-time hybrid role based at our offices located at 8000 IH-10 West in San Antonio, Texas 78230.No out of town travel required.

As a Senior Audit Associate at Sol Schwartz and Associates, you will:
- Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their business operations, and providing insightful recommendations to enhance their financial processes
- Conduct risk assessments, identify potential issues, and develop strategies to mitigate risks during the audit process
- Prepare and review audit documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to professional standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting principles, and regulatory changes to ensure the application of best practices in audit methodologies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years’ audit experience with a public accounting firm
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- CPA license preferred
