Job Summary:

Providing excellent customer service and helping with the day-to-day operations of the pantry data entry intake area and housewares department. Ensure eligibility of community clients, and organization of housewares area. Prepare move in and urgent need boxes. Assists with the operations of the food pantry, handling all paperwork, stock inventory, ordering as needed. Follow USDA Guidelines/TEFAP Regulations. Provides guidance, training, and supervision to pantry volunteers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Records statistics regarding donations and purchases related to food and supplies for clients receiving pantry services.
• Sets up/takes down all equipment (i.e. laptops, tablets, and paperwork) used for client support services.
• Maintains a working knowledge of local and county resources.
• Attends Food Bank conferences and trainings, sharing information with the team when called upon.
• Develops and keeps inventory of housewares area; keeps pole barn area orderly.

Qualifications Include:

• Minimum level of education: high school diploma or its equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of direct customer service experience (preferred)
• Valid driver's license
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment for a not-for-profit organization providing direct service.

Job Type: Part-time
