Job Summary
Mange and oversee all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. Responsible for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, and outside vendors. And contractual deliverables. Prepare Status Reports as required.
This position requires U.S. citizenship. Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide Acquisition Milestone activity and documentation support for development programs (including materiel change programs)
  • Support and lead Acquisition Milestone activities; and understand applicable laws, regulations, and JPEO , DEVCOM, and JMC policies pertinent to all milestones.
  • Build and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules related to milestone activities and documents.
  • Identify and maintain cognizance of the status of milestone requirements in accordance with applicable Army and DoD publications for decision reviews that apply to CAD programs and provide advice to the project officer(s) on the need for documentation, reviews, and meetings.
  • Assist in coordinating the milestone efforts and working meetings with the office of the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA) and, as necessary, other Government agencies.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and participate (virtually but sometimes face to faced) in the Milestone Documentation IPT meetings held during the period of performance. .

    • Test and Evaluation meetings, Qualification Reviews,
    • Design Reviews,
    • Quarterly Program Reviews and meetings related to the Milestone reviews,
    • Type Classification (TC), TC Standard, TC LRIP and Materiel Release (MR) processes.
  • Perform detailed analysis of all proposed documentation for the milestone provided by the government to assure consistency and accuracy of information, and continuous compliance with the applicable regulations. In general, all documentation shall be developed using software compatible with the Microsoft Office family of software on a Microsoft Windows PC compatible platform.
  • Collect information and draft final Milestone documents in electronic format to establish the Milestone Decision Package (MDP).
  • Support the preparation of documentation and program plans as identified by the project officers, including the Modified Integrated Program Summary (MIPS) to support key program milestones.
  • Assemble information and develop briefings as required to inform PM management on; specific documentation being written, analysis and overall status (including schedule/critical path/etc) of milestone documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 years of experience
  • Army experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable on Extended Range Cannon Artillery (ERCA) program preferred
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
  • Skilled in operating MS-Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Project
