Schedule: M-F 10 AM – 6 PM with occasional evening and weekend support would be required. The schedule is subject to change based on the principal’s needs. Some days might be required to be on-call.

Job Description:
A private HNW family seeks to hire a courteous and professional Chauffeur with former NYPD / Law enforcement background to provide transportation and security services. The successful candidate will be highly adaptable and will have a proven track record of providing safe and timely transportation services. The ideal candidate will have a former law enforcement background and will be local to the Queens, NY, or Long Island, NY area.
Responsibilities:

• Provide safety and professionalism in all transportation assignments by the family
• Drive principals, guests, and children to and from general destinations, appointments, meetings, secondary residences, airports, and heliports
• Excellent knowledge of tri-state and surrounding areas
• Flexibility with schedule; able to work long hours as needed
• Assist with luggage, heavy lifting, and household chores
• Provide excellent customer service in every interaction with family members, staff, and guests
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness using products and standard supplies preferred by the family
• Keep inspections and service requirements up to date
• Keep track of expenses and submit all receipts for reimbursement
• Assist with transportation of pets to and from vet or grooming appointments
• Run errands, general maintenance, and carry out special requests

Requirements:

• Excellent references from both current and previous employers
• Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of Private Chauffeur/Security experience
• NYPD or Law enforcement background is preferred
• Strong communication and technical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while reporting to the primary assistant
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Flexibility with hours; available to work on short notice and on weekends as needed
• A law enforcement background is a big plus
• United States work authorization
• Valid driver’s license
• Must follow all CDC recommendations against Covid-19
