Societe Generale is Hiring an Early Talent Specialist - Human Resources - New York, United States Near New York, NY

Responsibilities
  • Develop sourcing strategies to attract a diverse slate of summer intern talent from universities, partnerships, and programs.
  • Partner in the development of campus recruitment brand campaigns and their strategic deployment using social media & branded recruiting collateral.
  • Liaise with Early Talent team on university relations strategy and recommendations.
  • Work with school teams to create on-campus strategy at assigned target schools. Coordinate all on-campus and in-house activities for schools including company presentations, office visits, networking events, and interviews.
  • Serve as primary resource for candidates throughout the recruiting process.
  • Manage and elevate our summer intern program, including onboarding, training, events, appraisal process and offers, rotations, and placements.
  • Manage the effective onboarding of new interns and analysts to ensure both a positive experience, accuracy in data, and compliance with all hiring regulations and practices.
  • Serve as point of contact with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and other HR functional areas for the businesses you will support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with various recruiting channels, such as universities and talent conferences; Foster relationships with career centers to build a strong network of schools to recruit for various rotational programs.
  • Closely monitor the firm’s Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) to fully track applicants, identify diverse candidates and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Establish strong relationships with campus diversity leads, school team ambassadors and senior management to obtain top, diverse talent and elevate our brand on campuses.
  • Work in close partnership with our Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Development team and Employee Resource Groups to align on strategic priorities.
  • Drive the conversion of high-performing Summer Analysts into the Full-Time Analyst Program for the groups you will support.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of campus experience, recruiting, or relevant HR experience.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Data analytical mindset
  • B.S. / B.A. degree in Business, HR, Psychology, or related field
  • Excellent prioritization, writing, and oral communication skills are required.
  • Strong capacity to develop robust relationships across various stakeholders and handle sensitive / confidential information.
  • Highly motivated and able to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Strong ability to partner with program management and Inclusion & Diversity leadership to further develop and execute on sourcing opportunities and strategic priorities; share best practices and business cases for new and innovative approaches/programs; execute and participate in those programs.
  • Proactive, highly organized, detailed-oriented, and results-focused.
  • Internet and Social Media savvy, specifically with websites such as LinkedIn
  • Intermediate knowledge of using an Applicant Tracking System and Handshake
  • Travel to universities and conferences as needed.

COMPENSATION & SALARY RANGE:

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
