Sochi Saigonese Kitchen is Hiring a Prep Cook Near Chicago, IL
Essential skills and functions:
1. Prepare food items and ingredients needed for the menu based on prescribed recipe.
2. Ability to understand the safety when operate tools and equipments
3. Ability to multi task calmly and effectively in a busy and stressfull environment
4. Available to work variety hours, days and shifts.
5. Ability to lift up and move 10 pounds to 20 pounds
6. Ability to stand on feet entire shifit and walk safely through all restaurant areas, including walk up and down the stair.
7. Ability to cross training in a different department
8. Ability to torlerate potencial allergens: eggs, peanut, treanuts, shellfish and seafood
Key responsibilities:
1. Follow prescribe portioning and par levels
2. Maintain Sochi's food safety and quality standard
3. Ability to read thermometer correcly to make sure all prep foods are at safe temperrature.
4. Comply all kitchen safety and maintain sanitation in the kitchen area
5. Become a good and supportive team player
6. Ability to do inventory and report to kitchen manager
7. Communicate and collaborate well with other members to create a great team work.
8. Food preparation
9. Ability to perform cleaning after service
10. Other responsibilites will be assigned as needed
