Position Responsibilities:

• Engage and interact with children ages 4-15 in a fun and outgoing manner.
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment for young athletes.
• Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and responsibility when interacting with players and their families.
• Be able to create and use age-appropriate soccer activities to engage players for a full session.
• Be able to adapt to the Recreational Youth Soccer Coach role as it shifts slightly depending on the season and program you are assigned to.

What do we need from you?

• A background and passion for soccer
• At least one season of sports coaching experience
• USSF or USC coaching license although not essential. If you are unlicensed but come with experience, we will pay for you to attain your first USSF coaching licenses online
• Able to reliably commit to a couple evenings a week for practices and Saturday mornings for games.
• Pass a background check
• You must be based locally in CT and be legal to work in the US (we don’t provide US work VISAs)
• Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle to reliably commute within a 20 mile radius to programs.
• Experience working with children is a plus
