Join the Soccer XS team to develop, engage and inspire the youth soccer community. Soccer XS is hiring 'Competitive Team Trainers’ to work with children U9-U15 in local travel programs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Be able to create and use age-appropriate training sessions to meet the competitive needs of the travel team you are working with.
• Engage and interact with children ages 9-15 in a fun and outgoing manner.
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment for young athletes.
• Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and responsibility when interacting with players and their families.
• Able to reliably commit to a couple evenings a week for practices and weekend availability for games.

What do we need from you?

• A background and passion for soccer
• At least one year of soccer coaching experience
• USSF in person 7v7 - 9v9 license or above. Ideal candidates will possess a USSF D license or above or equivalent from another recognized coach education provider.
• Possess great communication skills for all levels of interaction from players and their families to clubs and organizations.
• Pass a background check
• You must be based locally in CT and be legal to work in the US (we don’t provide US work VISAs)
• Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle to reliably commute within a 20 mile radius to programs.

License/Certification:

• USSF In-Person 7v7 or 9v9 license (Required)
• USSF D License or above (Recommended)

Duration: Contracts range from 3-12 months

Job Types: Contract, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
