Primary Purpose
Functions as the company's expert in a specific technical discipline for Leak Detection & Repair Program (LDAR). Manages the development of programs impacting policies and procedures for the application of technology by operations organizations. Manages and directs multiple projects and tasks within the department, including development of work scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements. Develops methodologies for solving specific technical problems and manages the application of those methodologies by Company personnel. Represents the Company's interests on industry committees involved with formulation and modification of codes and standards. Manages or coordinates group sponsored research and development projects.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports Operations with technical advice, research, and data to address operational needs of the organization.
• Perform initial investigations and research to develop project plans for assigned projects and tasks specific to the expertise or knowledge required for the position.
• Manage assigned projects and tasks.
• Monitor performance of recent program implementations and make adjustments as required to achieve desired results.
• Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Education

• H.S. Diploma/GED or higher. Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business preferred.

Experience

• 4 Years of experience and specialized knowledge specific to the area of expertise, e.g. engineering, project management principles. Required

Skills and Abilities

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• General computer skills and use of basic Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
• Ability to work independently, maintaining productivity but without daily supervision, oversight, or in-person direction
• Demonstrated proficiency in gathering and analyzing data to develop sound, logical solutions to technical problems
• Working knowledge of project management principles. Ability to simultaneously manage, coordinate, plan, and perform multiple activities and initiatives
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively develop and present
• recommendations to diverse audiences. Comfortable communicating/interacting with customers
• Ability to develop and interpret statistical information, test results, and related reports
• Knowledge of advanced meter communications technologies and/or other radio frequency (RF) technologies a plus
