Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of our business. This is a leadership position that requires strong sales management skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train and supervise employees, providing guidance and support as needed
- Assist with employee orientation and onboarding processes
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring stock availability
- Oversee merchandising and visual displays to maximize sales opportunities
- Drive sales by implementing effective sales strategies and promoting products or services
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in math for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting
