SNAPtivities is Hiring a Director of Operations Near Bloomfield, MI

SNAP Flag Football seeks an ultra-organized, solutions-oriented professional to support our youth sports organization. As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will work closely with our founder to streamline operations, implement new initiatives, coordinate with the team, and drive strategic priorities from conception to completion.

This role is perfect for someone who loves coordinating complex projects, excels at taking ownership of their responsibilities, and wants to play an integral part in creating a streamlined business. You will have the chance to learn directly from our CEO while also taking ownership of critical processes and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee major projects across all facets of the business – from marketing campaigns to season schedules and more. Develop detailed project plans, set milestones, and ensure timely follow-through.
  • Manage the CEO's calendar, coordinate meetings, handle paperwork, take notes, and respond to emails/calls on their behalf. Serve as a gateway to the CEO.
  • Maintain master task list, tracking key deadlines across the organization. Proactively notify staff and CEO of upcoming commitments.
  • Work cross-functionally to coordinate tasks between staff, contractors, partners, and volunteers. Follow up on progress and unblock obstacles.
  • Streamline systems and processes for scheduling, project management, information sharing and more. Ensure organizational effectiveness.
  • Anticipate needs, offer solutions, and take ownership of critical business functions. Identify issues and solve problems.
  • Manage relationships and communications with key stakeholders – sponsors, partners, contractors, parents and more.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, accountability and integrity. Promote transparency and ethics.
  • Put the experience of the children in the league as the central priority of all work done.

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in an executive assistant or operations role.
  • Exceptional project management abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proactive mindset with outstanding organization skills
  • Grace under pressure. Ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Resourceful self-starter who takes initiative and ownership
  • Experience building efficient systems and workflows
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Target Start: asap
Expected Hours: 25-35/week
Pay Rate/Range: TBD based on experience
