Role Description:

In the role of EDI Operations Specialist, you will be part of dynamic team that live by Safety National’s core Values: Relationships, Integrity, Teamwork, Balance, and Stability. You will work closely with the Manager, EDI Operations and her team to solve advanced data quality issues or anomalies, including those that need research or technical expertise to resolve. Your contributions of ensuring integrity of data for reporting and analytical purposes will be felt throughout Safety National.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as an EDI Operations Specialist will include quality of analysis of production EDI data. This position partners with assigned business units to provide accurate data to support the best possible business decisions. The ideal EDI Operations Specialist will identify and spearhead continuous improvements in the quality and availability and processing of EDI data. You may also be assigned various projects like, leading analysis and validation of data completeness, consistency, accuracy, and compliance to data standards and principles. You may also investigate and identify EDI data quality issues. See out the root cause of data problems and develop a recommendation on how to resolve issues. Partner with data source stakeholders and supervisors to implement resolutions.

The ideal candidate is someone who can be dependable, detail oriented, analytical, organized and self-motivated with excellent technical and communication skills. Some of the essentials skills required of you in this role are, having expert skills in the use of Windows Excel, Word and Outlook.

Qualifications:

Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently
• Participates in and promotes a team environment with the department and the company

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of relevant insurance experience

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target salary range for this position is $57,000 - $88,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
