Line Cook - Smoque Steak (Avondale) - TRAINING IMMEDIATELY!!
SMOQUE STEAK is both a new style of steak and a new style of steakhouse. We are looking for strong LINE COOK candidates to work within an innovative kitchen.
This is a general kitchen position that is responsible for production and assembly. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen is required.
Summary of Position :
- Reports directly to the Kitchen Manager
- Hours will range from 30-40 / wk based on performance and dependability
- Must be available to be scheduled Tuesday through Sunday, closed on Mondays. Weekend availability is mandatory
- This is a semi-open kitchen so professionalism is required
Responsible for food assembly functions including :
- Ensure food quality is up to standards
- Sanitation practices and cleanliness of kitchen
- Timely and accurate assembly of components for service
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Kitchen Manager
Qualifications :
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Must be dependable
