CASHIER

SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Cashier to provide outstanding service to our awesome customers. You’ll accurately process their payments while making them feel welcomed. You’ll be the expert on our menu and merchandise, so you can answer any questions they may have. You’ll be an excellent steward of all cash, receipts, and any other transaction methods/records placed in your care. By providing prompt, attentive service, you’ll play a key role in creating a great dining experience for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and acknowledge customers
• Address customer inquiries regarding our menu, merchandise, and pricing
• Keep track of all promotions, special offers, discounts, etc.
• Ensure sufficient cash/coin is available for your shift(s)
• Process payments accurately according to company policies and procedures
• Issue refunds/credits as needed as directed by management
• Balance sales/receipts accurately according to company procedures
• Maintain accurate transaction records
• Maintain a neat, orderly work area
• Assist in other areas as directed by management

REQUIREMENTS

• Basic knowledge of mathematics
• Experience dealing with money preferable
• Ability to operate relevant equipment/technology (ex. cash register, card reader, tablet, calculator, etc.) (can be trained on the job)
• Familiarity with restaurant/food products (can be trained on the job)
• High school diploma or GED preferable
