Smitty's Supply, Inc. is Hiring a Payment Application Specialist Near Roseland, LA
The Payment Application Specialist will be responsible for accurately posting all payments received from customers to their accounts in a timely manner.
Position Responsibilities
1. Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
2. Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing deposits.
3. Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges and refunds.
4. Applies payments received from customers through various channels accurately to the account and correct GL accounts.
5. Coordinate with satellite facilities on daily cash reconciliation.
6. Prepares financial reports to ensure balancing of payment batches.
7. Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
8. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
9. Is responsible for other duties as assigned by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
