Job Description

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Quality Specialist to join the team. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance to customer and Titeflex drawings. Reviews and creates First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) that are in compliance with customer & AS9102 requirements. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs, records, and ensure that the FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) has been approved by the customer as applicable.
  • Ensure customer purchase order requirements have been met and authorize shipment of products.
  • Verify Titeflex data and documentation (Router, IMS, outside Certifications, etc) is compliant and indicate deviations from existing standards.
  • Check dimensional characteristics and Visual inspection (marking, appearance, condition) as required by customer.
  • Check documentation prior to shipment (packing slips, C of C, etc.).
  • Interprets engineering drawings and confers with management/engineering staff to determine acceptable quality levels.
  • Data entry as required by customers via portal or internal log for quality tracking.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time ·
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

The Individual

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
