Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Seafood Clerk to join our team. As a Seafood Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring the quality and freshness of seafood products, and maintaining a clean and organized seafood department.

Duties:
- Prepare and package seafood products for display and sale
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of seafood products to maintain freshness
- Assist customers in selecting seafood products and provide information on cooking methods, recipes, and nutritional value
- Clean and sanitize work area, equipment, and utensils according to food safety standards
- Receive and inspect incoming seafood shipments for quality and accuracy
- Maintain inventory levels by restocking seafood products as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the store

Skills:
- Knowledge of food production processes and food safety regulations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively
- Experience in meat cutting or working in a restaurant kitchen is a plus
- Proficient in using knives and other kitchen tools safely
- Familiarity with the food industry, culinary techniques, and seafood varieties
