Smith Protective Services, Inc. is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals who possess a Level III Commissioned Security License through the Texas Private Security Bureau and valid Texas Driver's License.

Applicants must meet the following basic security officer requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Eligible to work in the United States of America.
- Have a valid Driver's License.
- have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have a working telephone.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Not convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude.
- Be willing to submit to a physical and drug screening.
- Agree to an in-depth background check including but not limited to criminal history, work performance, and character references.
License/Certification:
- Commissioned Security Officer License (Required)
- Valid Texas Driver's License (Required)
We are looking for a Security Officer to join our team and provide a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling the premises, responding to alarms and emergency situations, monitoring surveillance equipment, and enforcing security policies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skill, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements.
