Job description: Production Lead Supervisor - Industrial Food Manufacture Plant.

Directs and coordinates assigned production department in processing materials and manufacturing products. This position plan and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, leads, and manages assigned employees, assist in trouble shooting and recommends improvements in productions methods, equipment operating procedures and working conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directs, schedules, and prioritizes department production activities to attain schedule completion with acceptable quality.
• Organizes workflow by preparing and managing productions schedules, including startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Assigns personnel to production machines and areas and oversees line or area rotations and break schedules during assigned shift(s) to accomplish seamless shift changes and troubleshooting progress.
• Ensure safe and consistent operation and preventative maintenance for all department machinery.
• Ensure that all machine safeguards and other safeguards and exposure controls are in place and functional and that safety equipment (including PPE) and tools are provided.
• Monitors, records, and takes action based on production data.
• Provides coaching and counseling to associates and corrective action when needed, and enforces process controls, policies, and procedures.
• Lead, promote and support continuous improvement activities and plant safety protocols.

• Proven knowledge of production policies and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and management skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing needs.
• Must have proven ability to develop and promote a team environment.
• Must be proficient in MS Office.
• Able to work required, mandatory overtime.

Education and experience Required:

- High School Diploma preferred.

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week.

• Weekends as needed.
