We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the dentist during dental procedures and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. If you have the necessary skills and qualifications, we would love to hear from you.
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures. Do any prep work on the patient before the doctor comes in to meet the patient.
- Have everything ready for the procedure to begin and assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take dental x-rays, chart existing restorations.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as making bleaching trays
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed
-Familiarity with intra-oral scanners a plus!!
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in dental software systems (e.g., Curve, Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
