Dental Assistant needed four days per week to provide exceptional patient care as well as accepting responsibility for the daily operations of the clinical environment. As a comprehensive dental practice, the qualifed assistant must be experienced with restorations; crown and bridge placement; oral surgery (including implant placement); endodontics; dentures and partials; and occlusal trauma therapy. Other areas of knowledge must include:
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, upcoming treatment and post-operative care
- Treatment planning and presentation, scheduling appointments and updating patient records with an understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Maintaining strict infection control protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and dental treatment systems. A minimum three years of Eaglesoft or similar dental software use is REQUIRED
We will offer competitive pay based upon recent dental assisting experience.
