We're seeking individuals with at least 1 year of dental assisting experience with expanded functions. Coronal Polishing and Caries Prevention is a plus!
Have an administrative background? Even better! We would love a candidate who is willing to be cross trained between our clinical team and our administrative team to provide support to both departments.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting the dentist using 4-handed dentistry
  • Taking & developing dental radiographs.
  • Assisting in a hospital setting with patients under General Anesthesia
  • Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; and answering patients' questions.
  • Place amalgam and composite restorations.
  • Ensures accurate patient records (treatment planning, medical history)
  • Takes dental impressions & pour models.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; and reporting needed changes.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prepares treatment rooms including decontamination, sterilization, cleaning handpieces and room, and restocking supplies.
Qualifications
  • Dental: 1 year (REQUIRED)
  • Radiology License (REQUIRED)
  • Expanded Functions (REQUIRED)
  • Coronal Polishing (Preferred)
  • Nitrous Certification (Preferred)
