Smile Dental Services, Inc. is hiring for a Dental Office Receptionist (DOR) in our Murrieta location who is detail-oriented and has exceptional customer service skills to provide patient support and ensure that all necessary patient documentation is complete and correct. This position is full time Monday - Friday.
The Dental Office Receptionist is responsible for scheduling and confirming patient appointments, registering new patients, preparing patient records, as well as checking out each patient at the end of the appointment. The DOR will verify insurance coverage and ensure that pre-authorizations are received prior to appointments, as required. General office duties, such as maintaining the patient files, daily morning meetings, monthly checklist activities, continuing education and training seminars are also a requirement.

To qualify for this position, a background in dental insurance, knowledge of dental software and some understanding of dental terminology, is preferred. The successful candidate will possess basic clerical and administrative knowledge, be computer literate (Internet and Microsoft Office), work well with patients as well as team members, and possess strong organizational skills.
