Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in dental office settings, possess strong knowledge of insurance verification, and demonstrate proficiency in dental coding.

Duties:

- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
- Appeal unpaid/underpaid claims
- Maintain accurate patient records and insurance information
- Assist in coding procedures using ICD-9 codes
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate with patients regarding insurance-related inquiries

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a dental office setting
- Proficiency in insurance verification and processing claims
- Knowledge of dental terminology and coding practices
- Familiarity with ADA codes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
