The Skylodge Front of House team demonstrates an unwavering dedication to delivering unparalleled customer service and outstanding culinary experiences within the distinguished setting of our Skylodge. In this role, the individual will need to adeptly handle responsibilities as a busser, barback, and skilled assistant to both the Lead FOH and Food & beverage Manager, particularly during peak demand periods. Operating with finesse, the Skylodge FOH team needs to adeptly adapt to the intricate dynamics of each shift, tailoring their contributions to match the distinct rhythm of the occasion. A pivotal facet of their role involves the meticulous upkeep of the dining area—a space that necessitates attentive care. This involves the systematic execution of tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and thorough sanitization of tables, bar stools, chairs, as well as the comprehensive upkeep of restroom facilities. Thriving in the realm of refined hospitality, the Skylodge FOH team should go beyond conventional service, orchestrating an experiential journey that leaves an enduring impression on the hearts and memories of all privileged patrons. ? Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, going above and beyond to create memorable experiences.

? Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the Skylodge's exclusive and inviting ambiance.

 Service Excellence:

? Lead by example in delivering exceptional, personalized service that exceeds guest expectations.

? Utilize your training and follow your Lead & Manager’s direction, including proper table etiquette, guest interaction, and conflict resolution.

? Perform as the onsite Leadership role when Manager or Lead is off site.

? Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

? Assist in cashiering/taking payments from guests. Understanding/training of our POS system. Must have basic computer knowledge.

? Setting up server/bussing station pre-shift according to the opening task list

? Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, growth, and a shared dedication to excellence.

Kitchen Assistance:

? Monitor food quality, presentation, and timeliness to uphold the Skylodge's culinary standards.

? Assist with expediting orders during peak times and ensure smooth communication between the kitchen and the front of house team.

? Helping the culinary team by taking orders at our POS and accepting transactions, Serving and expediting dishes to the guest.

Requirements:

? Minimum of 3 years of experience in front of house roles in high-end or luxury hospitality environments.

? Current Utah Food Handlers Permit

? Current Sips & Tips Certification

? Age 21 required

? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while upholding Skylodge's uncompromising hospitality standards.

? Reliable Transportation. Must be able to drive to Skylodge, usually in inclement weather. A 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended.

? Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the Skylodge's operational needs.

? Detail-oriented with a keen eye for maintaining a polished and organized front of house environment.

? Exceptional leadership abilities with the capability to inspire and motivate a team.

? Maintain excellent hygiene and a professional appearance, with an added focus on seasonal specifications

? Extreme punctuality

Physical Requirements

? Ability to continually bend, kneel, and reach

? Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

? Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.

Work Environment: Generally, in an indoor setting with occasional exposure to outdoor environment. While performing duties of this job, the employee will be frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions or cold weather. Working in a potential slippery environment.
