Description

Powder is a year-round resort and real estate development project nestled throughout 10,000 acres in the Wasatch Mountains of Northern Utah. The Compliance Coordinator reports to the Community Manager and Executive Director in performing a wide range of operational tasks and administrative duties in support of the community objectives which include but are not limited to; the management of the onsite facilities, assist with coordinating community events, coordinate with maintenance for work orders, contracts, bids, GIS updates, manage vendors, attend meetings, and support staff. The ideal candidate will be someone willing to learn the position and demonstrate growth potential within the site and organization. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position or related field, specifically the construction industry 
  • Possess a valid UT driver’s license, current vehicle liability insurance, good driving record and must have reliable transportation. 
  • Ability to read and understand Home Building Design Plans 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

The follow is not an inclusive list as additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on needs of the Community: 

  • Ability to manage time, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and reprioritize as needed 
  • Strong writing and verbal communications skills 
  • Computer proficient with; Microsoft Office specifically word, excel, and Outlook 
  • Ability to work independently, when necessary, without being directly supervised. 
  • Flexible with project changes and working “outside the box” 
  • Team player with an ability to work with a larger team on projects to coordinate and collaborate.
  • Strong Attention to detail skills 
  • Good character, integrity, adaptability, and self-control 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Limit information disclosure (including non-confidential) to what is needed to answer the question or resolve the issue at hand 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

  • Perform field inspections, some supervision of contractors and administrative duties for compliance of Covenants and ARC. 
  • Oversee the architectural review process; and enforce the Design Guidelines for modifications to the exterior of homes or businesses.

  1. Owners Association documents, covenants and restrictions
  2. Builder/Contractor Standards 
  3. Homeowner responsibilities to their own property/s
  4. Builder/contractor responsibilities to custom home sites
  5. Enforcement capabilities according to the documents 
  • As an ARC Committee Member, will provide all duties affiliated with being an ARC Committee Member. Duties shall include the following: Review & Comment on all ARC submissions and Participate in ARC review calls. 
  • Routine Property Inspections of Owner-Occupied Property for Violations. 
  • Conduct mandatory inspections of active construction sites on behalf of ARC and Covenants as directed. The inspections ensure that the project conforms to the approved architectural application. 
  • Prepare correspondences for Covenants and Standards as directed 
  • Perform updates to owner files on all accounts 
  • Answer calls for Covenants issues and maintain conversation history log 
  • Complete a service log for all calls with concerns, questions and suggestions. 
  • Include action taken and contact made on the appropriate service entry 
  • Assist with special projects 
  • Provide knowledge at ARC/Board Hearings
  • Perform resale inspections and resale reports if needed 
  • Other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Community Association Manager/Director
